Key Trends at Sleep, The Hotel Design Event 2015

We loved the updated take on 60s furniture trends and Scandi-minimalism, an enduring look for the hotel business, brought forward using fresh materials.

Bold statements were made using the trend for 'bringing the outdoors in', and the woodland bath display in particular proved to be a great talking point.

Textured walls were used with or against prints, to create character, depth and statement pieces. These were largely used in neutral, and particularly grey colours, as well as pale blue tones.

It seems metallic notes remain popular, but take on a more subtle approach for 2016 design. At Sleep they appeared within fabrics, soft furnishings and wallpaper, more so in silver, but we also saw plenty of Dulux's 2016 Colour of the Year, Cherished Gold.

This week we've hugely enjoyed exhibiting at Sleep, the Hotel Design Event.
On the 24th and 25th November the London Business Centre was buzzing with designers, architects, builders and developers from all over the hotel industry, showcasing the most innovative new ideas, design and technology.
Our Design Team were there to make the most of the two-day event and here we share behind the scenes photographs, and take a closer look at the trends they found on show.
