Design Team: Top trend spots for AW16
Firm followers of our social media accounts will no doubt be well versed in the recent travels of the Design Team.

Soft and subtle

Opulance

Colour: Blue hues
Tying into Dulux’s Colour of the Year, Denim Drift, inky, indigo and duck egg palettes are very much en vogue. Matt finishes, and mix-and-match shades, complete the look.

Raw industrial
Structures inspired by our surroundings include the use of natural materials, Jesmonite, marble, neutral tones and metallic finishes.

Pattern
The theme of geometrics continues to dominate the décor market, with designs taking on forms of traditional and cultural importance. Highlights include minerals, marbling, textiles, tweed and weave.

Surface texture
This trend has remained prevalent, with subtle attention to detail for a sense of luxury. Raised prints, crackling, folding, layering and manipulation all exist as elements of interest.
