Train Station: Visitors coming into the city via its station are met with creativity upon arrival, through striking signage, such as this.

This month, our designer Amy Pears visited the city of Birmingham, to explore its stunning architecture – both old and new. In Birmingham, creativity is plentiful, from the curved, bubble-wrapped exterior of the city's famous Bullring to the elegant neo-gothic aspects of St Philip's Cathedral – we could think of no better place to kick off our Architectural City Guides.
