Prismatics range adds splash of colour to Spode Works POTBANK development
In support of Stoke-on-Trent’s UK City of Culture 2021 bid, Spode Works opens its brand new POTBANK Café, which features colourful tiles from our iconic Prismatics range.

Couples marrying at the venue or anyone celebrating a special event there will be able to place dedications on their own tiles. Our Artile service will provide the cutting-edge technology to ensure seamless printing of their designs.
The next phase of the development, by Dog and Bone Projects, will see the creation of a replica bottle kiln and new ‘pop up’ accommodation. Our Antique and Kerastar ranges will be used for the flooring throughout.
Due to be completed in early 2018, Spode Works is on track to become a thriving, creative hotbed. In September, it will play host to events as part of the British Ceramics Biennial.

The new Spode Works site, set to be a hub for creatives and tourists alike, has unveiled the first stage of its development in the form of the POTBANK café. For the décor, our Antique tiles create a stylish flooring solution, and our iconic Prismatics range makes a bold and colourful impression as the coffee bar’s fascia.
In addition to bright and welcoming interiors, the café will host “Nello’s Hall of Fame”, featuring ceramic plaques for dedications in support of the City of Culture bid while celebrating Stoke-on-Trent’s rich heritage.
