Awards season 2017: Celebrating the design industry
As we approach the end of 2017, we take a look back on what has been an awards season like no other.
First up, FX hosted its annual ceremony to highlight the brightest and best talent in interiors. As proud sponsors, we were honoured to present Minggu Design the Mixed Use Development award for its project, Lai Yard. Our National Account Manager Mark Harle made the announcement during the event, which was compered by TV comedian Jimmy Carr.
Earlier this month, our team helped Mix Interiors celebrate the 10th anniversary of its prestigious Mixology North awards. The event has become renowned for its show-stopping entertainment and is attended by the UK’s most well established designers and manufacturers.
This year we were shortlisted for Manufacturer of the Year, and our Specifications Manager, Jack Maclennan, presented Product of the Year: Lighting, Technology and Interior Accessories, to the deserved Colebrook Bosson Saunders.
We were also thrilled to see our friends and collaborators the Patternistas awarded Product Design Team of the Year, topping another stellar year for the creative duo.
With 2018 on the horizon, we’re looking forward to another 12 months of innovation. Stay tuned and watch this space.
