Dulux Colour of the Year 2025: True Joy

Dulux has announced its Colour of the Year for 2025: True Joy. As its name suggests, this vibrant yellow tone is perfect for creating an uplifting and joyful atmosphere.

For over 20 years, Dulux has championed the transformative power of paint by collaborating with leading trend experts worldwide to select an annual colour that captures the spirit of the time—resulting in 20 Colours of the Year to date.

This year’s colour, True Joy, is inspired by a collective desire to break free, reset, and welcome the new, aligning with Dulux's "Just Leap" theme. This bright and cheerful yellow is designed to fill spaces with creative energy, optimism, and pride. It works beautifully on its own as a statement shade or as a striking accent to complement other colours.

The three inspiring Dulux colour palettes; A bold colour story, a human colour story and a proud colour story, help in identifying complementary shades.
